BRIDAL COLLECTIONS

Six gowns, each cut to order. Fabric, colour and finish are chosen at the first fitting.

Collection gowns are not carried in stock. What hangs in the fitting rooms is a sample in a middle size, used to test proportion on the body; the gown you receive is cut from your own measurements in the cloth you choose. Prices below are the starting point for the standard cloth in the standard length. Changes in sleeve, neckline or train are quoted at the second appointment.

Full-length column with a lace overlay worked in one piece from shoulder to hem. Buttons to the small of the back over a concealed zip.

ORDERING AND TIMINGS

16–20 weeks

From the ordering appointment to collection, for a collection gown in a standard cloth.

3 fittings

Shell fitting, structure fitting and final fitting, spaced roughly six weeks apart.

50% deposit

Taken when the cloth is cut. The balance falls due at the final fitting, before pressing.

2 hours

Each appointment is held privately, with one party in the fitting room at a time.

Orders placed inside sixteen weeks are taken only where workroom capacity allows, and carry a short-order charge of 15 per cent. This is quoted in writing before the cloth is ordered.
